Freakz C9 T-Shirt①　”Let’s Give It All To Today”

This shirt is the image shirt for the first song on my album “C9”, “Let’s Give It All To Today”.

I’ve avoided black T-shirts in the past, but this will be my first black one.

———-Did you get any requests for a black T-shirt as well?

No, no, no.

———-Who’s that one person?

It’s me.

That’s why I don’t have any requests or anything.

The motif of the illustration is quite dark, so I thought black fabric would suit it better.

It has the white Freakz logo below the illustration and the “C9” album logo on the back collar.

The price has gone up a bit because of this.

I have to make a design that I’m satisfied with for when it sells someday

———-I’m not sure if the higher price will make it even more difficult to sell…

———-Then, what is the motif of this illustration?

As I mentioned in the explanation of the song, the theme of the song ” Let’s Give It All To Today ” is borrowed from a “JAGATARA” song.

The leader of the band, “Akemi Edo”, is one of the artists I admire most, but unfortunately he passed away in the bathtub of his home in 1990.

So I made this piece by tracing an image of his bathroom.

It’s a rough tracing so that you can’t tell what I’m drawing, but as long as you get the eerie feeling, that’s all that matters.

I’m not going to explain why it’s creepy.

I plan to make an illustration of the image for each song and make it into a shirt, just like this shirt.

———-Isn’t that too much work?

It’s a long-winded story, but, well, it always happens.

You see it in the band “Ulfuls” song “Just Now!”  (from the album “Eenen”)?

When you want to do something, you do it.

“Sheena Ringo” also sings in her song “Tsuki ni Makeinu” (from the album “Syoso Strip”), “I might die tomorrow”.

I just do what I want to do now.
