It was actually a musically excellent band as well

It is a radical performance punk band that used to belong to the “Murderous Vinyl Chloride”.

Vocalist Caroline Yamada is famous for his performances (self-inflicted wounds), mainly using firecrackers.

Although the image of the band’s eccentric onstage behavior precedes its reputation, it was actually a musically excellent band as well.

What should be noted is the high level of performance by the rhythm section.

The two rhythm players are the backbone of the music

Drummer Hiroshi’s drumming was extremely tight and precise.

The drums are not heavy like heavy metal drums, but they are speedy and have a sense of urgency that makes I feel impatient when I listen to them.

He is my favorite type of drummer.

Bass player MONCHICCHI dares not to use heavy bass, and his bass lines are light and comical.

His playing is fast, precise, and cool.

The guitars are not so prominent, but their technical play shines through in the music.

The two rhythm players are the backbone of the music, and that is what makes Aids’ music so appealing.

Come to think of it, I remember that these two also participated in the new “-Kinki- Zangyaku-Hihou-kan” by “Kyouaku-Kyoujin-dan”.

It is probably to their credit that the new work of is “Kyouaku-Kyoujin-dan” of a high standard.

I hope “Aids” will be back with the same lineup as before

Unfortunately, the drummer HIROSHI left the band after the album “Unko-Kuitai!” was no longer as appealing as “Unko-Kuitai!”

The drummer was replaced, and the band lacked power.

The bass line is not so sensational anymore.

Nowadays, bands of the past are reuniting one after another.

I hope “Aids” will be back with the same lineup as before.

I’ll definitely buy their album when it comes out.

(Postscript)

I can’t find any information at all after the breakup in 1996.

I think I saw a text saying that he and the “Crazy-SKB” had a falling out, but I forget the source.

Does anyone know anything about the “Murderous Vinyl Chloride”?
